Sizzix 'eclips' is only getting better!!!

Ok friends... Over a year ago, after seeing the eclips in action at CHA, I introduced this new and much much better die cutting machine to you for review. Now they have bridged the gap between what Cricut refused to do and what Sizzix is willing to do. The truth of the matter is we all want to ability to cut true type fonts but we also like the ability to just cut an image from a reasonably priced cartridge. Sizzix has done all of this!!!
Provocraft has sued SCAL and they won so it is no longer able to be used to cut with the cricut (at least not readily). So Sizzix did what any logical company would do... they entered into a partnership with SCAL so they could offer the best editing/cutting software for the best die cutter to you! This is really exciting for me because this year at CHA is was certified as an 'eclips' instructor. I want to make sure that everyone knows and has the best machine on the market.

Sketchy Challenge 9.9

Here is my interpretation of the sketch that was posted for sketchy Thursday. It is their Challenge 9.9,. I used the new BoBunny 'Learning Curve' and a picture of my daughter on her first day of school this year. I did some distressing with Tim Holtz inks & blending I used water to roll and distress the paper. I also used their new rolled fabric flowers. It was a lot of fun and totally not my usual style.

'eclips' is the BOMB!!!

For those of you that know me would never think to hear me talk positively about another machine other than the Cricut. But I'm here to tell you that the Cricut is a toy of the past! The eclips is the die cut machine of the future. It isn't developmental as far as the Cricut but that is b/c they have focused on doing it right the first time so what it is doing is the best in its field!!!
